Rohan Parashuram Kanawade's Marathi feature Sabar Bonda has been named the winner of the FIPRESCI-India Grand Prix 2025, the annual award presented by the India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
The announcement was made on Monday by FIPRESCI-India following a secret ballot conducted among its members, who selected the year's ten best Indian films in order of preference.
Pradip Kurbah's Khasi-language drama The Elysian Field finished as the first runner-up, while Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound secured the second runner-up position.

- Desire – Moham (Malayalam), directed by Fazil Razak
Founded in 1925, FIPRESCI (Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique) is the world's leading association of film critics, with national sections across dozens of countries. Its India chapter annually honours outstanding Indian cinema through the Grand Prix, based on votes cast by its members.
FIPRESCI-India said the Grand Prix award will be presented to the winners at a ceremony to be announced at a later date.
