A poultry farmer from father to son, Étienne has also made a name for himself as a motorcycle racer. All this leaves little time for family life. As he struggles to save his poultry farm from an uncertain future and illness catches up with him, his daughter Alice returns to the farm to help him and begin a dialogue that is long overdue.
