Synopsis

A schoolteacher reads aloud excerpts from the most poignant scene of violence against women in Ovid's Metamorphoses. As the ancient verses echo through the classroom, her students begin to recognize beneath the poetry - the myths reveal themselves to be an unsettling mirror of contemporary reality.
