Synopsis

In rural Texas, Sarah recognizes a familiar pair of cowboy boots and begins to question the life she thought she knew. Her neighbor Jack is confronting a betrayal of his own. As their marriages quietly unravel, Sarah turns to him for help with a deeply personal decision. One that may require leaving Texas. Inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love and Ernest Hemingway’s Hills Like White Elephants, NOT HERE is a story about betrayal, bodily autonomy, and the distance we travel to reclaim control over our own lives.
