Logline

Jacques and his master travel through the countryside, encountering various adventures. Along the way, Jacques tells how he met Denise after the Battle of Fontenoy.

Synopsis

Jacques (Patrick Chesnais) and his master (Guy Tréjan) ride through the countryside on a mysterious journey punctuated by adventures, according to the people they encounter and the inns that receive them along the way. At the same time, Jacques tells his master how he came to know the beautiful Denise (Marie-Christine Rousseau), following the many twists of chance that occurred after the episode of the Battle of Fontenoy.
