The Red Sea Souk Project Market 2026 has extended submissions for feature film projects in development or production, giving South Asian filmmakers another chance to access one of the region’s increasingly important co-production and financing platforms.
Held as part of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah from 5–9 December 2026, the market brings together selected filmmakers with producers, financiers, distributors, sales agents and festival programmers through pitching sessions and curated one-on-one meetings.
Who can apply?
The market is open to Asian directors, including South Asian filmmakers, working on feature-length fiction, animation or creative documentary projects (60+ minutes) in either the development or production stage. A separate Works-in-Progress section is also open for films in post-production.
Updated deadlines
• Projects in Development / Production: 14 June 2026 (extended)
• Works-in-Progress: 24 July 2026
